Title: How to Keep it clean: A guide for all things related to cleaning rooms

The dreaded 3 words no high schooler ever wants to hear: “Clean your room”!!!! Ahhh the horror. In my opinion, cleaning is extremely underrated in terms of priorities. Most high schoolers never even think about cleaning when it can actually benefit you in more ways than one. I find cleaning to be a great de-stress method, while also helping you stay focused in school, because when you go to do your homework in a pig-sty, you can’t think straight.

Here are some tips on how to keep your living space organized.

1: Keep a schedule.

Make sure you keep up with weekly tasks so as to not fall behind on keeping your place organized. For example, you can do vacuuming and cleaning sheets one day, and save laundry and dusting for the next. Its simple!.

2: Stay consistent.

You don’t have to do everything all in one day on a weekend and wait for your room to become a disaster again in 3 weeks time. Space things out and give yourself some breathing room for other activities during your weekend off.

3: Take your time and don’t put in low-quality effort

You can’t cheat cleaning. You have to do it the right way to get the best results, so if your vacuuming skills are on the weak side, but want your carpet to be spotless, make sure you don’t try to speed through it to save time. The same goes for everything else.

Take a deep breath every once in a while, I know high school can be stressful. But the better shape you keep your habitat in, the better you will feel overall. Trust me!.
