School dance season is amongst us! The excitement of the football game, the cute photos before, and enjoying a night with your friends are all a part of the experience. But with that comes a whole set of problems, like finding a place to fit 30 kids for dinner or trying to organize rides everywhere! It’s a roller coaster of fun and stress, but here are two ways to minimize the issues and have a smooth night!
- Get your group straight a month in advance
This is the hardest part because people are always being added to plans or new dates appear, and then all of a sudden you have 15 people who show up unaccounted for. So a good way to minimize the damage of that is to get your groups clear 3-4 weeks before, so that if a friend finds a date or someone drops out, then you have time to handle it seamlessly.
- Get a dinner reservation ASAP!
Restaurants fill up quickly, and it is not uncommon for dance nights to also be Michigan Football night! So I would advise you to talk with your group, find a dinner spot you all enjoy, and call as soon as you figure it out, or else you could lose your spot to hungry fans.
And remember, no matter where the night may lead you, HAVE FUN!!!
