High Protein Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the most fun.

I am a breakfast connoisseur; I love to eat it and love to make it.

Here is my favorite breakfast to start the day:

The go-to breakfast that I have every school day is an egg and hash brown skillet.

I first start by getting two frozen hash brown patties. I find that the ones from Aldi are the best due to their size. I put them in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 400 degrees. As that is frying, I grab 5 eggs, milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, and ground pepper. I crack open the eggs into a medium-sized bowl and whisk. I then pour a splash of milk into the eggs to make them fluffier when they cook. I put in a handful of cheese and a scoop of yogurt for a little extra protein. I continuously whisk until it is all mixed up. Before the patties are done, I turn on the stove and place my pan onto the flame. I start with medium to low heat and place a slice of butter to prevent the eggs from sticking. When the butter is melted, I place the two patties in the pan. Then I pour the eggs. Add any spices you want. With a spatula, I separate the two patties and mix them with the eggs, like a scramble. I continue to whisk until the eggs just start to cook, then take the eggs off the flame for 15 seconds and then back on the flame for 30 seconds while continuing to whisk. Do this until the eggs are roughly 90% done, fully cooked. Then turn off the stove and continue to whisk until the eggs are fully cooked. Then plate it and enjoy.

Lastly, my drink of choice is a black coffee with a splash of honey and a glass of milk on the side.
